Getting What you Want

Julie Allen and I grew up together. We hung around until we both hit ninth grade. Julie’s body finally developed and she became what all the boys would call a total knockout. To me Julie Allen was not like many other girls in her school. Julie was what the girls in her school would call, a stuck up daddy’s girl. To herself Julie was the hottest and richest girl she knew. Julie’s father owned his own big company Fast Cars Automobile along with 80% of the town’s small retail stores including my mom’s flower shop. Julie was one of the girls that had to replace a sterling silver chain with a 20k gold Prada chain, everything just always had to be perfect with her. When Julie is at school most of the time she is seen with her two sidekicks, Rachael and Andrea. Personally I think that the only reason those to girls put up with Julie is because she buys them something almost every time they go shopping with her. Also Julie gets almost every boy in school so if you cared about your status with the boys it would be best if you hung with Julie.

There is this one guy in school that I really like named Timmy Corbin. Timmy has dark brown eyes and hair, he has tanned skin. Timmy is at least 6 feet tall which I like because if we ever dated he would be able to pick me up or lean over and wrap his long arms around me and give me a big hug. Timmy is also the most popular boy in school. He is the star baseball player. Rumor has is that so far since the beginning of the season Timmy has hit a total of 30 home run’s. That is a lot for a small town baseball player. I guess what I am trying to say that my dream boy for now would be Timmy but there is no way that I would ever have a chance with him. Timmy probably never even glanced at me before.

Time for Biology! That means I am stuck sitting beside Julie for 1 hour. Julie purposely arranged for me to be her partner so that she could nag at me and pick on me for the whole entire class. It is so annoying sometimes I wish that I could get the guts to stand up to her. Today before I got into class Julie decided to be funny and stick ABC gum to my chair, I finally noticed when I had to go up and write my answer on the board and Julie shouted, “Omg! Look everyone, she has something stuck to her but” I turned around and looked down at my butt and noticed the big watt of ABC gum stuck to my pants. Everyone in the bio class started to point and laugh. Except for some reason Timmy didn’t. I wonder did Timmy feel bad for me or was he just totally zoned out. Very humiliated I asked for a bathroom pass to go and try to get some of the gum off my pants. When I got back and walked into glass Timmy smiled at me as I got closer to his isle I noticed he was folding a piece of paper. Then as I got by his desk he reached out and passed me the folded piece of paper. Blushing I walked back to my desk. The minute I sat down Julie looked at me and said “so what does the note say” I put my head down and said “leave me alone!” She giggled and turned to her two sidekicks and said find out.

The lunch bell finally rang and I grabbed my books and hurried off to the lunch room. I was pretty sure the note from Timmy would be some sort of joke about me or a funny picture of me with gum on my butt. So then I opened it the note said “Hey girl, I am having a party Friday you should come”. This must be a joke, there is no way he meant to give this note to me. I never even thought twice about it and shoved the note into my pocket. I begun to eat my lunch alone and read my book. I usually read my book at lunch to take away a bit of the loneliness at lunch. I found it better to look in my book then at everyone else around me who was whispering or throwing food at me. I was three chapters into my book around the part where the girl finally finds the man of her dreams and then he dies in a tragic boating accident.. I am sure no one else but me would be interested. All of a sudden my book was hit out of my hands. I looked up and shouted hey watch it! I then noticed that it was Timmy. Right away I apologized to him even though he was the one who hit the book out of my hand. No problem he said, I was just wondering if you are going to show up Friday, I would really like to hang out with you. I giggled and said “go away, I am sure you want to hang out with me, the quiet nerdy girl”. He looked puzzled and said “I would have never noticed you were a nerd”. I rolled my eyes and said “okay”. Then I decided the only way to get him to go away would be to say “fine, I will be there”. He bent down and kissed me on the cheek and said “okay, see you there!” When he walked away everyone in the whole lunch room was steering at me. They probably never expected that just as much as me.

I packed up my things and slowly walked out of the lunchroom. Lunch was over but I decided that I would skip this class and go read some more outside under the tree. That was one rebel thing I liked to do. After I got comfy and started to read I noticed three tall shadows by my feet. Before I had a chance to look up Julie sat down beside me and grabbed my arm. She said “so what did your lover boy said to you in the lunch room?” I said Julie it is none of your business! Let go of my arm! Julie giggled and looked up at her sidekicks and said “I think little miss nerd here has a crush” then looked at me and said “if your do not tell me what Timmy said to you I will have your mothers little low income flower shop shut down in minutes!. Thinking how hurt my mom would be I handed her the note. Julie read it then tore it right in half. She said to me if I even see you standing outside the doors of the party you can say goodbye to your moms little shop and look forward to a good beating. I said “okay, whatever” She stood up and looked down at me and said “don’t whatever me little miss nerd” I own you and can run your life. Do not tempt me. After she walked away I finally looked at my arm and noticed that her manicure nails had left indents in my skin. What a stuck up ***** I thought to myself.

The Covert Panda – Rescue of the Animals

Panda was once a power-less woman who moved across the ocean to learn combat techniques to aid her conquest against animal cruelty. After growing impatient with her various Masters, she took her unfinished learning’s in Ninjetsu, Ju-Jitsu, Aikido and Judo to a monk who taught her to use a staff instead of the body. Again, impatient with this training, she set out again to use what training she had acquired to avenge helpless animals. During her first mission near Rome, Panda found herself before the temple of Empanda; welcome home of the Goddess Juno. Juno, in her endless wisdom granted Covert Panda the power to disappear, in hopes that it would assist in her heroic quest.

Panda now having all the powers she needed knew it was time to accomplish her mission. Panda decided that her first mission would be to free all the animals that were being used for testing in the Philippines. Panda knew that this would still be a very hard mission even though she mastered in various skills that the monk had taught her. Even with her power to disappear she would still have to figure out a way to get passed the guards at the testing base. The guards were armed with lots of weapons and also had some of the training she did in Ninjetsu, Ju-Jitsu. Once planning for days, Panda started her heroic quest.

It took a bit of time for Panda to venture to the Philippines but it was cost free. Panda used her power to disappear to fly on planes and travel on trains. The trip was effortless, until she arrived in the Philippines. Panda had to make her way through the city of darkness. During her quest she came across another group of monks who praised her for her effort to save the animals. The monks told her that they would pray for her during the rest of her travels that she would be safe. The Monks also gave Panda the best map they possessed so that she could avoid trouble and arrive there quicker. When Panda was leaving the dome of the monks they gave her enough food and weapons for the journey. Panda was thankful for the aid the Monks had given her.

Following the map the Monks had given her Panda finally arrived at the gates of the Animal Testing Facility. Panda was a bit nervous that the guards would over power her but she knew she had to save the animals and would risk everything she had for them. Using her Ju-Jitsu and her power to disappear, Panda swung and jumped through all the trees above the guards. Unfortunately one of the guards heard a branch break and immediately sounded the alarm. The guards still could not spot Panda. Then Panda got into some trouble because she was not aware of the invisible electric wall the protected the building. Panda hit the wall and lost her power to disappear. The Guards spotted her. Panda got up and ran even though she was wounded. Panda was not sure at first how she was going to get into the building but eventually figured about how to disconnect the electric wall. Panda cut the wires and opened the door very quickly, just in time she shut the doors and locked them so the guards could not enter.

In a panic, Panda ran to the room where all the animals were being held. The door was locked but with extreme force Panda kicked the door down. Panda could not believe her eyes the animals were so skinny and in pain. Panda could sense their feelings and see what they went through while they were being held in the facility. Panda never had that much time to get the animals out and was not too sure how she was going to manage getting them all out at once. Panda using her great thinking skills knew there was only one way to do it. Panda decided to give all her power of disappearing to the animals. Panda knew if the animals were invisible she could hold the guards off long enough for the animals to leave the facility. Panda touched each animal so they would get her power and opened all their cages. Panda led the animals to the exit door of the facility.

When Panda arrived at the doors the guards were waiting for her. It was going to be very hard to overpower all of the guards but she knew it was going to be worth it. Panda fought through the guards using her Ninjetsu fighting skills. Eventually all the guards backed down and let Panda leave. Panda led the animals towards the woods and released the power of disappearing from them. The animals were finally free, Panda’s mission was complete. Even though the animals could not thank Panda she could sense their happiness and love and that was all she needed.

The Mixed up Murders

Far across the world in the deep mountains there was a small town called Owensville. The town was so small they did not bother to put it on a map. Owensville was the regular type of small town where you had the town drunks, fights, teens drinking down the baseball field, and baseball was the usual event of the town. “You know the things that usually happen in a small town”. John Henderson and is partner Marie just moved to the town and did not know too many people. They moved in the old farm house right at the top of the mountain. From their home you could view the whole town.

John and Marie never planned on having children but mysteriously Marie became pregnant when they moved into their new home. Many of the people in the town did not agree with Marie being pregnant because John and Marie were not married. When Marie would go to town to gather groceries or even when she was driving through the town the men and women would scream vulgar and violent names at her. This really upset Marie because she did not plan on being pregnant. John would usually just tell Marie to ignore them and that they were just jealous or that he loved her and not to worry.

One night while John was at work Marie was in the middle of her usually house cleaning duties and heard some noises coming from her back yard. Marie ignored them at first, until she heard them again. Marie peeked out through the window to see if she could see anything. She noticed that there was a man running from her barn. From that moment the barn burst into flames. Marie did not know what to do. Marie ran outside trying to find the man. Marie began to panic she had no idea how to handle something like this.

Marie finally decided to run into the house to phone the police and John. When Marie got onto her porch a man in a black mask was standing there. The man came towards Marie and pushed her down the stairs with excessive force. Marie being pregnant passed out. The man took off with the barn still in flames and while Marie lye there on the ground helpless.

John got a call at work that his house was burning but soon found out that it was only his barn. When John got home he did not know where Marie was. The police told him that she was taking to the hospital and that it would be a good idea for him to go there now.
John arrived at the hospital. When he walked in, the doctor let him know that Marie lost the baby. John was furious and very upset. When Marie woke John asked her what happened. Marie said there was a man with a mask he lit the fire, he pushed me. Marie burst into tears. Marie was very upset about the loss of her un-born. John let her know that it was okay and that whoever done this, would pay.

Weeks went by and the two settled into their home. John eventually built the barn again because it was needed for his storage and his farm truck. Early in the afternoon one day Marie and John were sitting on the porch and the mailman came around. The mailman had a package for the couple. John signed for the package then John sat back down beside Marie and opened it. Inside the package there was a tape. John told Marie to follow him in the house so they could see what was on it. John put the tape in the VCR and sat down beside Marie, than John pressed play.
At first the two did not know what the video was or where the image was taking place. As the video got further they noticed it was there house in the video. Then it showed the barn bursting into flames. It focused on that for less than a minute. John and Marie were horrified. Not only did the man burn the barn and make them lose their baby but he taped it! After it showed the flames the video turned over to Marie lying on the ground bleeding. Once John seen this tape, he finally got an idea of what Marie had actually gone through. Just watching the tape reminded Marie about her loss. Marie told John to shut it off.

Now that John watched this video he knew he had to do something about this. John knew that whoever done this was the person that sent the tape. John sent the tape to the police station to see if there was, finger prints. Two days later the police office phoned him at home. The police let John know that there was finger prints on the tape. They told him who it was. The minute they said the name, John hung up the phone without saying thank you and grabbed his keys and left the house. Marie did not know where he was going.

John got into his vehicle and begun to drive into town. As John was driving he was trying to think what he was going to do to this man. Then it came to him, he was going to do the same to the man’s family that he done to his.

John stopped into the gas station on the way and purchased five dollars worth of gas. John got back into his truck and drove to the street that the man lived on. John parked across the street until it was dark enough so no one would see him. John seen the last light in the man’s house go off and got out of his truck and ran over to the front of the house. John never entered the house, he just pored the gas all over the front of the house and then all over the families vehicle. John then lit a match and through it on the car and porch.

John only planned on giving the man and his family a scare and that is all he thought he did. The next day, John and Marie were eating breakfast. John was sipping on his tea and reading the paper, John flipped over to the town news page. The page said “Horror Strikes the Town yet again with another fire, Killing 2 children, and two older adults”. John could not believe his eyes. John did not plan on killing them he only wanted to scare them. John closed the news paper and glanced over at Marie he did not know if he should tell her. John decided not to.

A week had passed by, John was trying to forget about it but he could not stop thinking about what he had done. John thought that the cops did not think of him as a suspect because they had no evidence. That day the police showed up at his house, to ask him some questions. John tried his best to avoid getting caught. Then the police brought up the fact that he dropped the tape off to them to get the man’s prints, the man that died in the fire. Marie was sitting there listening she did not have a clue why the police were there asking John these questions. John could not help but shake and speak nervously. The police asked John a few more questions then came to the conclusion that they had to place him under arrest.

The police asked John to stand up, than they cuffed him and took him out to the cop car. Marie was screaming “John, John! What did you do?”. The trial came around John was charged for the murder of the family. They judge gave him the death penalty. To this day Marie still does not know what came over John. Of course she knew he wanted to get them back but she did not think he would murder them. Marie did not know that John did not mean it. John only wanted to scare them, but now he was a murderer a cold blood killer.

The Golden Arm

In the late 1900’s in the deepness of the dark woods, outside a little village there lived a man named John Macleod. For many years during John’s late 20’s, he was alone in those woods. When John turned 30 the loneliness started to really bother him. John started speaking to himself, sleeping more, and not eating. John eventually got depressed and almost gave up on life.

One day John woke up and decided that he could not take the loneliness anymore. John packed enough clothes, food, and essentials to survive a long journey. John was going to search for the perfect lady. John was determined to go find a lady that would make him happy and prevent him from being so lonely. John knew that he was good looking, but he did not have the courage before to find a lady. John began his journey to find the perfect lady.

The first town John came across was right outside of the woods. The town was called lovely, but apparently after looking a bit John did not think any of the ladies were lovely.
Next John came across a village John thought he noticed the perfect lady, John only seen this lady from behind. John learned different because when the “lady” turned around, the lady was a man. John rested for a couple of days before he left again.

John began his journey again and arrived in the farming land. John was walking by the harvest grounds and this lady caught his eye. She had long beautiful brown hair, and a nice white smile. John introduced himself to the lady. The lady could not see she was blind. John knew he should not judge someone just because they are blind but John wanted someone that could see him.

John finally came across the town of gold. While walking through the town John noticed it was a very wealthy town. Almost every person he seen had gold teeth. John thought it was very un-attractive that almost every girl had gold teeth. John was about to give up and go home. Then as he was leaving the village, a lady was passing by him. She had nice white teeth, but that did not matter anymore because she had something that he knew he would never find again. John knew that this lady had a quality that he would never lose. The lady had a golden arm.

John followed this lady to her home and before she went into her home he shouted to her. The lady slowly walked over to him because she was un- sure who he was. John said to the lady “I know this sounds crazy but would you marry me?” The lady paused and said “no, are you crazy I do not know you” John told the lady that he never seen another lady as beautiful as she was and that she should just take a chance to get to know him. The lady accepted.

Eventually the two started to date. There was a bit of a problem though, John was not in love with the lady he was in love with the golden arm. Anywhere the two would go John would have a tight grip on that arm. Most would have thought that John wished it was his arm. John and the Lady got married a few years down the road. They did not have any children or want any so they moved into a small town house right beside the graveyard.

John and his lady settled into their new home. Even when they would go to bed John would make sure that he was hugging that golden arm. A few months down the road John’s lady became very ill. John was very upset because he did not know what he was going to do without that golden arm. John did not feel any remorse that she was dying he was just concerned that he was going to lose that arm.

John’s lady eventually passed away because she could not find the care she needed. John had a funeral for her because it was requested by the family. John could not take the fact that he lost that golden arm. Nights passed by were John sat in the window and stared at the graveyard.

One night he decided there was only one thing that he could do. John went out to the shed, grabbed a shovel and a flashlight then started walking towards her grave. John got to his lady’s grave and begun to dig. John got to the grave opened it up the smell was horrible but he did not care. John chopped off that golden arm and wrapped it in a silk sheet then re buried his lady. John got home and was so happy that he got the golden arm back. John ate with the golden arm, showered with the golden arm, took the golden arm where ever he would go.

One night while John was lying in bed with the golden arm beside him he started to stare out the window almost in a daze. John was thinking that his life could not get any better. A few minutes passed, John started to notice this glowing figure in the air by the graveyard. The figure started coming closer and closer. Eventually the figure showed up right by his window. John could not believe his eyes. It was the Ghost of his lady.

The window and shutters blew open and she entered the room. John said to the lady, my lady what happened to your hair. The lady replied it happened when I died. John again asked the lady, my lady what happened to your face. The lady replied it happened when I died. Finally John asked the lady “my lady what happened to your arm”? The lady replied YOU GOT IT!!!!
